Ukrainian President Zelensky has pledged to overhaul the energy sector after a $100m corruption scandal involving members close to him. The scandal at Energoatom has prompted the promise of new supervisory boards and management audits at state-owned energy companies. Amid escalating Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, Zelensky also called for reforms at key companies like Naftogaz and Ukrhydroenergo, following the forced resignation of two ministers and the sanctioning of a former business partner.
