Published: 11/22/2025

The National Trust is planting saplings from the Sycamore Gap tree, illegally felled in 2023, across various locations in the UK. These saplings are part of the Trees of Hope initiative, symbolizing a reminder that there are always positive things to fight for. With 49 saplings in total, locations include Coventry, Staffordshire, Berkshire, Cambridge, and Strabane, with more to be planted in upcoming weeks, aiming to inspire respect and environmental responsibility towards trees.
