The Electoral Commission found no evidence of electoral law breaches by Nigel Farage's party, Reform UK, following allegations of overspending during the general election campaign. Essex Police declined to investigate the matter due to the elapsed time since the alleged offense. Former campaigner Richard Everett accused Reform of surpassing spending limits, but the watchdog concluded that there was no credible evidence of electoral law violations. Despite the allegations, Farage won the Clacton seat with a significant majority in the election.
