Mortgages and AI to be added to the curriculum in English schools

The government in England is updating the national curriculum to include teaching students about mortgages, budgeting, and identifying fake news, including AI-generated content. The review aims to narrow educational attainment gaps and modernize the curriculum while keeping a strong foundation in core subjects. Changes also include removing the English Baccalaureate, introducing financial literacy in maths classes, and emphasizing skills like spotting misinformation and diversity representation.
