Plans for banking hub to open in church building

Cash Access UK is planning to convert an underused office in Crowthorne Baptist Church into a temporary banking hub for up to three years, providing cash and basic banking services in Berkshire. The move comes as a response to the closure of many bank branches across the UK, with over 150 hubs already established. Bracknell Forest Council is reviewing the application, aiming to ensure banking services remain accessible to the community while a more permanent location is secured.
