Woman charged after 1.5m euros of gold stolen from Paris museum

A Chinese-born woman has been charged with stealing 1.5 million euros' worth of gold nuggets from the Museum of Natural History in Paris. She was arrested in Barcelona while attempting to sell melted gold and is currently in pre-trial detention. The theft involved disabled alarm and surveillance systems due to a cyber-attack, with the thieves seeming well-prepared and professional.
