Thirteen killed in shelling at besieged Sudan city hospital, RSF accused of war crimes
A Sudanese hospital in el-Fasher was attacked by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), leaving 13 dead and 16 injured, including medical staff. The RSF has been besieging el-Fasher for over 17 months, leading to a humanitarian crisis in the city. The recent shelling has raised concerns of a potential worsening situation unless urgent measures are taken to alleviate the siege and protect civilians, as warned by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk.
