Ten workers killed battling wildfires in Turkey
Ten workers killed battling wildfires in Turkey's central Eskisehir province as a forest fire claimed the lives of at least 10 forestry and rescue workers. The tragic incident occurred when 24 workers were trapped inside the fire due to a change in wind direction. Five forestry workers and five AKUT volunteers lost their lives, with 14 others taken to hospital. The blaze in Seyitgazi district started spreading to nearby areas, causing devastation as efforts continue to control the wildfires.
