Samsung boss cleared of fraud by South Korea's top court

Samsung boss Lee Jae-yong has been acquitted of fraud charges by South Korea's top court, ending a long legal battle over his involvement in a 2015 merger deal. Lee, the de facto head of Samsung and grandson of the company's founder, was accused of stock and accounting fraud to gain control of the firm.
