Citizen Kane sled saved from destruction sells for nearly $15m

A Rosebud sled from Citizen Kane, a landmark film, was saved from destruction and recently sold at auction for almost $15m. Director Steven Spielberg purchased the sled, which was later donated to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. This iconic prop is now the second most expensive item ever sold, behind Dorothy's ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz.
