Powerful Ecuador drug lord 'Fito' extradited to US

Ecuadorian drug lord 'Fito' has been extradited to the United States to face charges of drug and arms trafficking after being recaptured in June. Adolfo Macías Villamar, leader of the Los Choneros gang, will plead not guilty in a US federal court on Monday. The gang is linked to criminal organizations from Mexico and the Balkans, and Macías is also suspected of ordering the assassination of a presidential candidate.
