Painting looted by Nazis recovered in Argentina
A painting by Italian artist Giuseppe Ghislandi, looted during the Nazi occupation of Europe, has been recovered in Argentina after being missing for 80 years. The artwork, "Portrait of a Lady," was found on an estate agent's website, hanging in a house that belonged to a Nazi fugitive's daughter. The painting, valued at around $50,000, was returned by the lawyer of the daughter, who is under house arrest as part of an investigation into the concealment of theft during genocide.
