A senior staff member at the Élysée Palace in France will stand trial for the theft of valuable tableware, including Baccarat Champagne glasses and Sèvres porcelain plates. The accused, Thomas M, is reported to be the chief butler at the presidential palace. The stolen items, valued between €15,000 and €40,000, were allegedly found in various locations linked to him.
