Judge dismisses terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan. The judge ruled that the allegations did not meet the terrorism definition under New York law. Mangione faces remaining second-degree murder charges with a potential minimum sentence of 15 to 25 years, in addition to federal murder charges possibly leading to the death penalty. Trial hearings are set to begin on December 1, with Mangione having pleaded not guilty to the charges.
