Indian doctors successfully remove parasitic foetuses from infant's stomach, improving her health. The extremely rare condition, "foetus in foetu", where malformation results in host twin absorbing the undeveloped foetus, required delicate surgery due to the presence of tumour-like structures. The 20-day-old baby was admitted to Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram, where a team of 15 doctors performed a two-hour surgery, ensuring no damage to vital organs. Early detection and surgical intervention play a vital role in treating this unusual medical condition.
