Woman stabbed in neck in 'unprovoked attack' in Birmingham city centre

A woman is in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck in an unprovoked attack in Birmingham city center. A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident on Friday night. West Midlands Police are investigating the attack and have appealed for witnesses to come forward. St Martin's Queensway westbound has been closed as investigations continue.
