Suspended Labour councillor cleared of encouraging violent disorder at rally
Labour councillor Ricky Jones cleared of encouraging violent behavior at an anti-racism rally despite calling for far-right protesters' throats to be cut. Jones, 58, stood trial after his incendiary comments were captured on video in Walthamstow. While suspended by the Labour Party, he maintained his remarks were "ill-advised" and not meant to incite violence.
