Grace O'Malley-Kumar, a victim of the Nottingham attacks, will posthumously receive the George Medal for her heroism in sacrificing herself to protect her friend Barnaby Webber during a fatal stabbing incident. Along with 19 other recipients of civilian gallantry awards, O'Malley-Kumar's act of bravery was highlighted by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer as a powerful example of selflessness and courage.
