Hotel adverts banned over misleadingly cheap rooms

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned adverts from major hotel and travel companies in the UK, including Hilton, Travelodge, Booking.com, and Accor, for promoting misleading minimum prices for rooms. The watchdog found that the "from" prices in the adverts did not accurately reflect availability, potentially misleading customers seeking good deals. The ASA emphasized the importance of transparent pricing to prevent misleading consumers and warned the companies to ensure future price claims align with the actual availability of rooms.
