Hamilton sets Silverstone pace from Norris

Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari outpaced McLaren's Lando Norris in the first practice session at the British Grand Prix, leading by 0.023 seconds at Silverstone. Hamilton topped a practice session for the first time this season, excluding his pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix sprint race. Other top performers included Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc, George Russell, Isack Hadjar, and Alex Albon.
