Explosion injures dozens at petrol station in Rome
A massive explosion at a petrol station in Rome's Prenestino neighborhood has left at least 29 people injured, with emergency services already on the scene after a tanker truck accident caused a gas leak and initial blast. The second, larger explosion injured nine police officers and caused significant damage, with thick black smoke and a giant fireball filling the sky. The incident led to burnt vehicles and buildings, with ongoing rescue efforts and evacuations of nearby buildings to prevent further tragedy, confirmed Rome's mayor, Roberto Gualtieri.
