Former French anaesthetist, Frédéric Péchier, known as 'Doctor Death,' has been sentenced to life in prison for intentionally poisoning 30 patients, leading to 12 deaths. The victims, ranging from a child to an 89-year-old, suffered cardiac arrests or hemorrhaging due to contaminated infusion bags. Péchier has denied wrongdoing, but a court in Besançon found him guilty of the crimes committed between 2008 and 2017.
