Duchess of York dropped from charity after Epstein email

Sarah Ferguson was removed as a patron of children's hospice charity Julia's House following the emergence of an email in which she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as her "supreme friend." The charity found it inappropriate for her to continue in the role. Another charity where she is a patron, the Teenage Cancer Trust, is also reviewing the situation. The move follows the publication of an email where Ferguson privately apologized to Epstein after publicly denouncing him, citing pressure to counter his threat of a defamation lawsuit.
