Councillor's wife jailed for race hate social media post released from prison

Lucy Connolly, who was imprisoned for inciting racial hatred through an online post after the Southport attack, has been released from prison. Connolly, from Northampton, had called for "mass deportation" and incited violence against asylum seekers in her post. She was released after serving 40% of her 31-month prison sentence, despite criticism of the sentence being too harsh.
