Three British nationals, Jon Collyer, Lisa Stocker, and Phineas Float, from Hastings and St Leonards in East Sussex, are on trial in Bali for drug smuggling charges, facing potential death penalty under Indonesian law. Collyer and Stocker were caught with 994g of cocaine valued at £300,000, while Float was allegedly to receive the drugs. Indonesia enforces strict punishments for drug offenses, with the trio's fate pending a verdict at a later date. Despite the potential severity of the sentence, efforts to repatriate some convicted foreigners on humanitarian grounds have been witnessed recently.
