Kalimuendo signing takes Forest spending to £140m

French striker Arnaud Kalimuendo joins Nottingham Forest from Rennes in a £26m deal, signing a five-year contract. Forest, who have spent over £114m on summer transfers, also recently acquired Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo, after expressing concerns over the squad's readiness for European competitions, saw Forest triumph 3-1 against Brentford in their Premier League opener. Kalimuendo adds depth along with Igor Jesus as support for forward Chris Wood in the team.
