Pornhub pulls out of France over age verification law

Aylo, the operator of popular porn websites like Pornhub, is ceasing operations in France due to a new law mandating stricter age verification measures for users. The French law, deemed risky for privacy by Aylo, requires porn sites to implement additional age verification procedures. This move comes amid global regulatory pressures on providers of explicit content, with the EU investigating Pornhub's child protection measures. Aylo has also exited some US states and will soon comply with enhanced age verification requirements in the UK.
