Four arrested in connection with M&S and Co-op cyber-attacks
Four arrested in connection with cyber-attacks on M&S and Co-op. The National Crime Agency detained a 20-year-old woman and three males aged 17 to 19 for Computer Misuse Act offenses, blackmail, and organized crime group involvement. The attacks, ongoing since April, caused significant disruption to the retailers, with M&S estimating £300m in losses. Police seized electronic devices during the arrests, which were hailed as a "significant step" in the investigation by the NCA.
