Sports kit recycling to help struggling families

A new sports kit recycling project in Jersey aims to assist struggling families by providing affordable gear for children. Jersey Sport, in collaboration with social enterprise Acorn, will collect, sort, and sell donated kit at discounted rates. This initiative helps remove financial barriers for families wanting to engage in sports and ensures that children have access to necessary equipment. By giving used sports gear a second life, families can participate in sports without added financial stress.
