Shein picks France to open its first permanent outlets

Shein, the Asian fast-fashion brand, selects France as its first location to open permanent physical outlets. This move follows the company's temporary pop-up shop in cities like Madrid and Paris. Partnering with Societe des Grands Magasins (SGM), Shein will establish "shop-in-shop" outlets at department stores in major French cities, aiming to create around 200 jobs and revitalize retail sectors while addressing previous criticisms on environmental impact and working conditions.
