SSE and Power NI confirm energy bill changes for Northern Ireland customers, with gas prices set to decrease by 8.47% and electricity tariffs increasing by 4%. The changes, effective from October 1, follow a review by the Utility Regulator for Power NI, SSE Airtricity Gas Supply, and Firmus Energy. The SSE tariff reduction could save a typical household £94 annually, while Power NI's increase affects all customers. Firmus Energy also announced a nearly 8% gas price drop for customers in the Ten Towns area, providing savings of around £78 per year.
