Kimberly-Clark to buy Tylenol-maker for more than $40bn

Kimberly-Clark is acquiring Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol, in a more-than $40 billion cash-and-stock deal. The purchase will create a consumer giant with a varied portfolio including Kleenex, Huggies, and other household products. Despite Kenvue's struggles and recent controversies, the merger is aimed at accelerating growth and creating a global health and wellness leader with a combined revenue of $32 billion.
