Free baby clothes scheme to support parents facing hardship

A new scheme in Strabane, County Tyrone, is offering free baby clothes and toiletries to families with children up to five years old facing hardship. Managed by the Western Trust and local community partners, the project aims to support families in need and reduce clothing waste through recycling. Families can access the service through health visitors, social workers, or by visiting the Grass Roots Centre on John Wesley Street. The initiative also provides help with essential items and offers additional support such as a social supermarket and wellness cafe for struggling families.
