Community group continues to fight food poverty
Wiltshire's Positive Community Action continues its fight against food poverty by cooking 8,000 free meals for vulnerable individuals in the Marlborough and Pewsey area. The group's community meals scheme, led by coordinator Karen Knight, relies on donations for core ingredients and surplus food from local shops. Director Siobhan Boyle emphasizes the importance of community support in ensuring their neighbors are fed and connected, while also highlighting the value of human interaction alongside meal deliveries.
