Charity welcomes living wage rise in January

Jersey's living wage will rise to £15.10 per hour in 2026, welcomed by a social action charity. This rate, approved recently, surpasses the island's minimum wage of £13.59 per hour set to increase in April 2026. Caritas Jersey CEO Patrick Lynch emphasized the importance of this living wage increase for islanders to thrive, not just survive in Jersey.
