Charity starts 'new chapter' with larger premises
A charity in Worcestershire, the Droitwich Community Pantry and Fridge, has recently moved to larger premises at the Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich. This move was made possible by funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, enabling the charity to increase its capacity and improve facilities. The charity, founded by Ashlea and Sarah Stone and run by volunteers, redistributes surplus food, providing families access to food for £5 per shop or for free to vulnerable individuals, benefiting the community and local schools.
