What we know about shooting of National Guard in Washington DC

Two National Guard members were shot near the White House in Washington DC, with one member succumbing to the injuries. The suspect, an Afghan national named Rahmanullah Lakanwal, is in custody. US President Donald Trump plans to deploy an additional 500 troops in response to the attack. The victims have been identified as Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Andrew Wolfe, 24, both members of the West Virginia National Guard.
