Typhoon Bualoi wreaks havoc in Vietnam, killing at least 11 people and causing widespread destruction in central and northern regions. The storm, which hit with winds up to 117km/h, also resulted in hundreds of homes being damaged or destroyed. Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors as the typhoon is expected to bring heavy rainfall of up to 500mm in some areas, exacerbating the flood situation. Rescue efforts are ongoing as dozens remain missing or injured, following a series of powerful storms in the region that have claimed many lives and caused significant damage.
