Toxic haze in Delhi despite 'green' Diwali

Despite attempts to have a 'green' Diwali, Delhi woke up to a toxic haze with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 360, indicating very poor air quality. Factors like stubble burning, vehicular emissions, and firecrackers contributed to the deteriorating air quality. Experts are concerned that the relaxation of rules around crackers during Diwali could hamper efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of air pollution.
