Syrian charged over plot to attack Taylor Swift Vienna concert

A young Syrian national has been charged with supporting a foreign terror group for his alleged involvement in a plot to attack a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna last August. The suspect, described as adhering to the ideology of Islamic State (IS), is accused of helping prepare the attack in coordination with another suspect planning a bomb attack on the concert. The main suspect, identified as Beran A from eastern Austria, was arrested before the concerts following a tip-off by the CIA, who noted the plotters sought to cause mass casualties.
