South East Asian bloc meet to seek end to Thailand-Cambodia conflict

Top Southeast Asian diplomats met to address the Thailand-Cambodia conflict, which has displaced around 900,000 people and had roots in historical border disputes. The conflict has escalated to artillery fire, air strikes, and casualties. Malaysia, as chair of ASEAN, is leading efforts to revive a ceasefire brokered earlier in July. The US and China are also involved in mediating a resolution.
