Soulja Boy arrested on suspicion of weapons charges

Rapper Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of weapons charges in the Melrose neighborhood. The LAPD confirmed the arrest after a traffic stop where he was found allegedly in possession of a firearm, leading to charges of possession while being a felon. Soulja Boy, known for his hit song "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" in 2007, was taken into custody early Sunday morning.
