Singapore denies entry to exiled HK pro-democracy activist
Exiled Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Nathan Law denied entry to Singapore for a conference. Despite having a valid visa, he was detained at the border and sent back to the US. Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs cited concerns over national interests. Law, a prominent figure in Hong Kong's democracy movement, fled to the UK in 2020 after China imposed a national security law.
