Shipping containers swept away in deadly Philippines floods

Floodwaters in Cebu province, Philippines, caused casualties and property damage as shipping containers were rolled by powerful currents. Three people have been reported dead and residents sought refuge on rooftops during the floods. Evacuations were underway with nearly 150,000 individuals moved to safety in preparation for Typhoon Kalmaegi, as per the Office of Civil Defence.
