Seven bodyguards arrested over Mexican mayor's murder

Seven bodyguards have been arrested in connection with the murder of outspoken Mexican mayor Carlos Manzo, known for criticizing cartel violence. The mayor was shot dead at a public event on 1 November, leading to the arrests following the capture of a suspect described as the mastermind behind the killing with cartel ties.
