Pirates fire grenades and board vessel off Somali coast

Pirates attacked and boarded a ship carrying gasoline off the coast of Somalia, firing machine guns and grenades. The Greek shipping company confirmed that all 24 crew members were safe and in a fortified safe room onboard. This incident is part of a recent resurgence of piracy in the region, with EU naval forces being asked to assist.
