Moment newly opened bridge partially collapses in China

The newly opened Hongqi Bridge in Sichuan, China, partially collapsed following landslides triggered by worsening conditions on the mountainside. Authorities closed the bridge after cracks appeared on nearby slopes and roads. Thankfully, there were no reported casualties. This incident occurred despite the bridge being completed earlier this year by contractors Sichuan Road and Bridge Group.
