Macron waxwork stolen from French museum by activists

Environmental activists disguised as museum employees stole a waxwork of French President Emmanuel Macron, later displaying it outside the Russian embassy in Paris. The activists criticized Macron's stance on French companies continuing business with Russia post-invasion of Ukraine. The waxwork, valued at €40,000, has not been recovered, as activists demanded an end to trade contracts with Russian companies amid ongoing fossil fuel exports from Russia to the EU.
