Key witness in ex-Peru mayor's corruption case found dead at home before trial. Peruvian prosecutors report José Miguel Castro's death as he was set to testify against former Lima mayor Susana Villarán, accused of taking bribes. Castro, a key figure in the investigation, was found deceased under house arrest. Villarán denied allegations of receiving $10m in bribes from Brazilian construction companies during her term from 2011 to 2014.
