The High Seas Treaty, aiming to protect marine biodiversity, will come into force as it received its 60th ratification from Morocco. Covering more than two-thirds of the ocean, the agreement sets binding rules to conserve marine life, which is under threat from overfishing, pollution, and climate change. Environmentalists see this as a turning point for the world's oceans, emphasizing the urgent need for global collaboration to protect our planet's precious marine resources.
